The city secretary shall make available to each new city official designated in this
article, a copy of the text of this article; V.T.C.A., Local Government Code ch. 171
and ch. 176 pertaining to conflicts of interest; the Texas Open Meetings Act (V.T.C.A.,
Government Code Ch. 551); the Texas Public Information Act (V.T.C.A., Government Code
Ch. 552) V.T.C.A. Government Code ch. 573; V.T.C.A., Penal Code §§ 36.02, 37.10, 39.02,
39.03 and 39.06 (collectively referred to in this section as the "Ethics Statutes").
